I started with this.......
And got to this......
I know... I still have a lot to do...but at least now I have a creative mess...and I produced these little thread catchers...They are part of our Stitch-a-long for January....and they REALLY are addictive!
My neighbour arrived with these little treats...they are just so cute...how could you eat them?....The little purple guy looks sad :(
Have a great Australia Day...
I'm off to the beach at Manly.. and.. its our 28th wedding anniversary, so I'm going to have a good time!
Cheers Lea
Now that does look so much better....great thread catchers...Happy Anniversary, have fun
ReplyDeleteCraft room looks great! Do you have time to come and do mine?? Happy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteMichelle.
Looks great Lea......looks like a good creative space. Happy Anniversary, hope you have a lovely time.
ReplyDeleteOMG I actually thought it looked worse then the first picture........what a transformation........it looks great I had no idea the room was so big and pretty.........that's probably because I couldn't open the door.......lol.......well done and I love the thread catchers.........
ReplyDeleteI did mine last weekend and I now have my cutting table back instead of it being where everything was being put. I have started Leanne's "Frogs in the Pond" from the Summer Vignette, although mine's called "Cats in the Cradle".
ReplyDeleteMy daughter-in-law regularly does those tiny teddy bikkies for her kids' parties and I like them a lot. I prefer them made with a different choccie bikkie than tim tams or the like.
Enjoy your creative space!
Looking good Lea....I say those thread catchers are addictive!!! Happy Happy Anniversary to you....have fun xo
ReplyDeleteOMG OMG OMG....I thought that room was lost for ever! It looks fabulous, well done!

What a great transformation of your sewing room. I showed Mick and told him it wasn't just me that has their "Stuff" take over. I have to do some serious tidying too. Have a great time for your anniversary.
ReplyDeleteYour room looks fantastic! Happy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that looks like my little sewing nook just before I got stuck into it today. I even took photos as well. LOL! Dont' know if I'll post my clean up on my blog though. I might. I had to clean up my space so I could sew my thread catchers.
ReplyDeleteLove your little orange thread catcher with the tape measure around the top. Too cute.
Love those teddy cars, I'll be making them for birthday parties this year!
ReplyDeleteYour sewing room look great. No where near hoarders as you could see the ceiling.
ReplyDeleteLove those little thread catchers too.
Happy Anniversary too :)
your sewing room looks great, since my eldest has moved out i now have a potential sewing room, just need a week off to clean/clear the room then it needs a paint....so i would say i might just make in there for christmas
ReplyDeleteLove your sewing room effort! Always nice to work in a tidy environment....I tend to make a huge mess when I sew....! Happy anniversary! Hope you had a nice time at the beach! I made a couple of the thread catchers...they are fun aren't they! Love the fabric you used.
ReplyDeleteHi, congrats for your craft room:-)
